The 3rd Edition of the National Burial Index is published on CD by theFederation of Family History Societies

It has over 18 million records from 50 counties but not all parishes or dates have complete coverage.  The CD includes records from a small number of parishes in various counties dating back to the 16th century.

Some counties in Wales still do not have any records in the Second Edition but all English counties (except IoW & Channel Islands) now have at least some entries.

Cleveland Family History Society contributed nearly 763,000 entries for this third Edition covering parishes within the old North Riding of Yorkshire and Southern part of County Durham
