Marriage Database For Northumberland, North Yorkshire & Durham.

Dates of parish register extraction vary but there are no entries post - 1837. [For a detailed list of parishes & dates covered, please request a listing from CFHS secretary]. Any other brief information which may assist the search such as approximate date of marriage, name of spouse, possible parish, would be appreciated. If the requested search is successful, you will receive a print - out of the entry.

It can be arranged that search results can be given either as files in ASCII or CSV format, as database files in DBase format, or as spreadsheet data eg Lotus 1-2-3(.wks) format. In this case a clean (virus-free) formatted disk should be sent with your search details and the format preferred.

Service charge is £5.00 per search. Please ensure your requests are written clearly, you enclose a stamped, self- addressed envelope, and send to the address below only. Cheques should be made payable to -
